Sheinside Review (Pt.1 - January, 2015)

Today, I will be writing a review for Sheinside on the Pink Eye Collar Sweater and the Black Diamond-patterned Skirt. Sheinside is an online store which offers free shipping world wide (currently) and they always seem to be having sales. They also have relatively cheap prices for all of the clothing items within the store.
Note : Even though this is a sponsored review, this review is based entirely in my honest opinions.
I received the "Pay Confirmation" email for this package on December 23rd, 2014~ This package was shipped on December 31st, 2014 to New Zealand from China. Sheinside also provided me with a tracking number which I found extremely useful during the later stages of the shipping. I finally received this package on January 6th, only 6 days later~ In conclusion, the shipping took 6 days; which is pretty impressive for international free shipping. The whole process took 14 days.
As you can see from this picture, each item is carefully, neatly folded in to sealed plastic bags~ The plastic bags give another layer of protection. Starting from the left, the items are :
Striped Boat Neck Shirt, Red High-waisted Skirt, Pink Eye Collar Sweater and Black Diamond-patterned Skirt.

Tadaa~ This sweater has a really gorgeous pink colour. That's one of the things that made me love this sweater. Of course, the most interesting part of this sweater would be the eye embroidered collar. I like how only one of the eyes are opened, the other one is close. I guess it is a wink. The collar of this sweater is actually detachable; it is attached to the buttons around the collar.

This sweater is stretchy~ The knitting of this sweater is also quite tight, as you can see from the number 1. I don't think the knitting threads are cotton because if they are, they wouldn't be as stretchy. I love the white and pink combination; these two colours go really nice together. It makes the sweater look more girly and adorable.

I apologise in advance for the photos of the skirt~ Anyways, what I like the most about this skirt would be the diamond pattern that is featured on this skirt. It kind of reminds me of mattresses in a way haha. It looked really warm and cozy in the stock photos. The skirt is quite true to the one shown in the stock photos~ Also, I needed another black skirt in my closet too.

There is a zip on the side of this skirt. This skirt is a high-waisted skirt~ I think that this skirt is double layered. There is a rougher and matte layer on the outside and a silkier, smoother layer on the inside. The smoother layer will prevent irritation on your legs~

I thought that these two items would make a good back to school look for those who are already studying really hard at school. The skirt grounds this outfit and it kind of gives off a strict vibe because of the colour and the texture. The sweater helps the outfit to stay away from being boring. The collar of the sweater helps to link the outfit together. Pair these with some black platform shoes and you are good to go.

The sweater fits me rather nicely, I really love the interesting touch on the collars. I think this sweater is pretty much perfection as I am having a hard time thinking about the faults it could have. The collar is not stretchable; therefore don't try to push your head through the collar because you will break the collar and really likely to hurt yourself.
I feel like that the skirt is a bit too long~ Even though it has the length I liked, I feel like that because this skirt is so dull looking, the length of the skirt makes it seem suffocating aiya. I think a shorter length would flatter the skirt more. However, the skirt is in really nice quality. It is a thick, two layered skirt that will probably protect you from the winter winds.
